It got stuck on "stage 2 of 3" and did not open my document

I needed an app to open a works document.
This did not work. The screen got stuck on " Stage 2 of 3" and did nothing.
I still needed to open the document and did not have time to diddle with trying to get support, so then I bought "Works Document Viewer" which opened the same document in about half a second.
So unfortunately I had to buy useless app before finding one that worked.
Best I can do is tell others to help ensure you dont get stuck.
